Healthcare is a passion and interest of mine that I have been in for over 10 years. I grew up in a family of healthcare providers that included physicians, pharmacists and nurses. Instead of becoming a provider, I chose a different route than my many family members, albeit still within healthcare. Specifically, healthcare operations coupled with legal and compliance work. I have experience across a broad spectrum, starting on the front lines answering phones in a primary care clinic up, running outpatient operations for multiple clinics across three counties in that jurisdiction, working as in-house counsel for a hospital, running compliance programs for academic health centers, overseeing clinical contracting for a major medical device company and more. I truly enjoy the complexities that are presented in each of the unique areas.

I enjoy reading, traveling to as many beaches as possible and running. I attended University of Central Florida for undergrad and graduate school, University of North Dakota for law school where I largely focused on business, contract and transactional law and Mitchell Hamline that focuses on healthcare law specifically for my CHC.

I am married to my husband, Reuben, who is also in the healthcare profession and oversees long-term care pharmacy operations and we have three dogs. We love living in Minneapolis and enjoy spending our time working in healthcare and collaborating on projects when we can, exploring new places (preferably a beach if it was up to me!), and warm summer nights on our balcony overlooking downtown Minneapolis.
